Would a buildup of Zolpidem Tartrate show in a liver function test

HelloCustomer. Thank you for your question. The effects of the Zoliprem (Ambien) could show decreased liver function on the liver funtion test. It could be seen.

A liver function test consist of testing different enzymes that include but not limited too: -Alanine aminotransferease (ALT) -Glutamic-Pyruvic Transminase (SGPT).

The liver is where drugs are metabolized and the blood is cleaned.

When these numbers are elevated they can show that a drug is too hard on the liver.

It can be toxic to the liver.

It doesn't show the exact drug that is causing the problem though.

It could be seen that a drug is toxic to the liver but not say specifically what drug it is.

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask. Best wishes, Macy.

If the enzymes start rising then that could indicate that liver function is decreasing.
